About GRAAMAARG Studio


Founded by Konstantinos Gkarametsis, GRAAMAARG is a cross-media design studio based in Athens.

The studio operates across textile design, surface pattern design, fashion, creative education, and contemporary artistic practice. Through an experimental approach to material, form, pattern, and process, GRAAMAARG develops limited collections, educational programmes, exhibitions, and interdisciplinary design projects.

Functioning as both a working studio and a creative platform, GRAAMAARG brings together making, learning, and research through workshops, presentations, open days, and collaborative initiatives. By combining physical craftsmanship with digital tools and contemporary design methodologies, the studio creates opportunities for exploration, skill development, and creative exchange.

Beyond its role as a working studio, GRAAMAARG functions as a meeting point for creative practice, learning, and collaboration.

Konstantinos Gkarametsis, founder of GRAAMAARG Studios

Konstantinos Gkarametsis is a visual artist, designer, and educator based in Athens, Greece. His practice moves across textile design, fashion, scenography, digital media, and contemporary art, exploring the relationships between material, body, technology, and visual culture.

With more than twenty years of professional and teaching experience, he has worked as a web and multimedia designer, fashion educator, art director, set designer, and costume designer for stage, film, and television productions. He holds an MA in Digital Arts from the Athens School of Fine Arts and has participated in exhibitions and collaborative projects in Greece and abroad.
